Meter Operator (Contract Agreements)

There are several electricity agreements that sit either behind or alongside energy contracts – the most prominent of these are Meter Operator agreements (MOP) and Data Collector & Data Aggregator agreements (DCDA).

These agreements are completely necessary, but 9 times out of 10 are not optimised by energy users in the same way that an energy contract is optimised. Often, a supplier will nominate their preferred MOP & DCDA on default charges which the end user pays. However, the appointed MOP or DCDA may not roll out smart meters properly or provide proper access to customers.

We use our knowhow, experience and relationships to ensure our clients always have suitable arrangements for their electricity meters. We can help appoint suitable providers who are not only good value for money, but also who will be able to manage the client’s metering and data requirements.
